I believe photography is the language of memories, and it’s so important that yours tell your story beautifully. Not just the grand moments that take your breath away, like weddings, but also those milestone years when sleep is sparse but love overflows, the little fleeting moments you want to remember forever — the way your babies looked, how your husband couldn’t take his eyes off you, how your family grows and changes, the year your baby goes to college… all of it passes in a blur.
I truly believe I was MEANT for this job. I’m a total extrovert, highly sociable, and a forever girl’s girl. I’m a posing pro (especially when working with plus-sized bodies), I love being creative, and I’m great at distracting people from the fact there’s a camera pointed at them. Most of my clients are surprised at how easy and fun the experience is!
My name is Irina, and I’m the photographer behind Irina Negrean Photography! I started shooting more than 14 years ago, right after graduating from UW with a degree in Sociology.
I absolutely LOVE what I do. I’m so passionate about the work I get to create with my clients and the stories I get to tell — from moms booking family shoots so they can be in photos with their beautiful families, to teenagers excitedly booking senior photos, to business owners bravely showing up for updated headshots. These stories deserve to be told. Your stories.
