Fall family photos
Every late October, the Pacific Northwest puts on the most amazing display of color and light, which makes for the most magical fall family photos. It’s such a joy to help my clients document their beautiful families against this fleeting backdrop. And the results speak for themselves.
These sessions are so convenient and easy and work for most people’s busy schedules! Fall family photos are also a great way to document your family’s growth and changes year after year, telling the story of your family’s journey over time. Babies turn into toddlers, toddlers into big kids and before you know it, that little baby now towers over you.

I love getting to see my return clients and friends, swoon over growing babies, marvel at accomplished teenagers and catch up and hear all the big news. Still, my favorite thing is how perfectly simple these sessions are – no fluff, no fuss. Just you and your family, bathed in that soft golden autumn light, an explosion of colors all around you, basking in the joy and love shared between you all. What could be more magical than that?
Fall family photo sessions are just 20 minutes long, which is AMPLE time for me as I’m a notorious fast shooter! This quick and easy time frame is perfect for families with packed schedules. And grumpy, moody dads will ESPECIALLY appreciate getting family photos and being out and on their way to enjoy their weekend in no time at all! I tend to bring a great deal of happy, positive energy in these mini fall family photo sessions. That really helps keep everyone’s moods uplifted and lighthearted. Yes, even the grumpiest of grumps – I should know, my father is one.
