Q. Where are you located!?
A. Fair question! I try to put my location on everything but in case something slipped my notice here it is again: I am based out of Vancouver, WA! I have a studio in my own home and I also shoot on location! I charge a small travel fee anywhere more than an hour away!
Q. What’s a reveal?
A.The reveal is the complementary appointment to view all your images from our shoot together! It is usually two weeks after your shoot and it can run between 20 minutes and one hour long. You may select the ten images that come with the base package at that point OR you may upgrade your package! If for any reason you are unable to decide on a package, there is a $100 fee for additional reveal appointments.
Q. What happens to the images that I don’t purchase?
A. Any images not purchased or waiting on a payment plan, get deleted.
Q. Help, I can’t find the images I bought from you and it was a while ago! Do you still have them!?
A. Yes baby I got you! I don’t delete ANYTHING that a client has purchased! If you lose your images for any reason I’ll email them to you free of charge or you can ask for a USB to be delivered via email for a small fee!
Q. I have no idea how to do my makeup, do you provided hair and makeup services?!
A. ABSOLUTELY. Every session includes professional hair and makeup services. The ladies I use are amazing at what they do, but more importantly they are very good at listening to you and really bringing your vision to life. I’ve seen them bring most of my clients to tears and so I’m their number one fan.
Q. What do I wear to a shoot?!
A. Don’t you worry, I have an entire room full of dresses, gowns, tulles skirts, corsets and bodysuits of sizes ranging from medium to a 4-5X. Between your closet and mine (and also the knowledge that naked absolutely counts as an outfit), we’ll have more than enough options. At your consultation we’ll go over everything and if there’s something in particular you need, you can always go shopping (darn, am I right).
Q. What do I need to do to book a shoot?
A. Ah, this one is simple, simply reach out via the contact form on my website OR email me directly! Even a social media DM is more than enough to get started!
Q. What if I don’t know what I want?
A. Hey I get it, we’re all living thru a global pandemic and we’re in decision paralysis. Good news is you don’t REAAAALLY have to decide. My sessions are whatever you need them to be. Meaning if you need a headshot but also want a picture with your partner and also maybe some sexy pictures to get you thru bad days, we can do that. If you want to dedicate your session to family pictures, we can do that too. If you want to start with some family pictures, then send the fam away and do some personal branding for your business, I got you! Sky’s the limit, I always say. You have me for two whole hours and you’re in hair and makeup, why not try to cross all the things off your list!
Q. What if I don’t like something about my hair or makeup?
A. I always tell all my clients makeup for pictures is different than day to day makeup, so I understand it can feel jarring to see yourself in a full face of makeup!
HOWEVER. If you are not happy, please let us know! If you aren’t confident enough to speak up yet, we can go in the bathroom together and you can tell me what you don’t like and I can advocate for you. But please do not hesitate! WE WANT your feedback. If you don’t love your look in the moment, you certainly won’t like it in pictures! Speaking up for yourself is a quality we LOVE in our clients.
Q. I love my images, how do I best hype you up?!
A. Honestly I love this question and I could cry thinking of how many women ask me that. Reviews on google are amazing and help so much. Same goes for Facebook reviews! I also get weepy at shoutout posts on social media, tagging me in your images and recommending me to your friends.
Buying your loved ones vouchers for shoots is a big one but if the budget doesn’t allow it, something as simple as sharing my posts, commenting on social media and helping me stay relevant with the algorithm! Thank you so much for being so amazing.
