Alli and I have worked together too many times to count. So naturally we get to be wildly creative in anything we do at this point. We had a gorgeous vision and then… IT ENDED UP POURING THE MORNING OF OUR SHOOT.
So we pivoted and dare I say it, it turned out even better than our original vision.
After the pictures Alli mentioned how amazing she felt to be in front of the camera, how much fun the kids had and you know what, this sort of a reaction is better than any portrait. Because if I can photograph you and you DON’T feel vulnerable, insecure and awkward – if I can make it into a easy, fun relaxing moment where you genuinely get to bond with your kids, well then, really, that’s a major win.
Find a photographer that brings out the best in you – there’s so many things you can fake nowadays between photoshop and AI but one thing you will NEVER EVER be able to manufacture or invent is TRUE GENUINE CONNECTION AND EMOTION. That is something you only get by really being comfortable in front of someone’s camera.
Alli and I are told all the time how beautiful our shoots are and YES, I know what I’m doing and YES Alli is very beautiful, but it’s mostly that we TRUST EACH OTHER. And when we get together, it’s inevitably MAGIC.
I want that for you.
